Baby Massage

A baby massage class can be held in your home with participation of one or more parents/caregivers. Alternately, you can get together a group of babies and share a session together. By demonstration and guided practice, you learn to give your baby a relaxing massage.

BABY MASSAGE

Regular baby massage has many health benefits, including better digestion and weight gain, reduced colic and improved sleeping patterns. Beyond the physical benefits, patterns of trust, care and communication are formed through skilled touch in infancy, to give a firm foundation for emotional development and wellbeing.

For parents and caregivers, it is a wonderful opportunity to bond and enjoy special time together, which is so valuable during these quickly changing early stages of life. In addition, research has shown benefits to the giver of the massage in reduced stress levels, and mood elevation. Truly a mutual benefit!
